Flower Power

Hi Everyone,

Popping in with my play at using the Spellbinders Shapeabilities Poinsettia Die. I bought them a couple months ago after Christmas at 50% off.  I could not wait until Christmas came around again and at the same time have been viewing on Pinterest all types and colors of beautiful flowers from all over the world. It has become an amazing journey on tickling my creativiy. I decided to go ahead and start playing with this particular die and give them my personal touch. That is the beauty of being able to act on your creativy sometimes its intimidating to be different and stretch yourself out there but once you take that first step, tweak and don't give up the beauty shines forth in building your self confidence, a smile from enjoyment and challenging your creativity to another level.  I now have flower power.

I am wanting to share this with Word Art Wednesday that has challenges inspired by God's Word.

I hope you enjoyed and take that step to new levels of creativity.

I am sure whoever created color and all the fun rainbow of colors found some by accident and tweaking.  And what a beautiful sight they have all become with new colors still popping up.

Until next time...this Frugal Grannie is out.

A Play at Distressing

Hi Everyone,
Sharing a few cards I made using different distressing solutions. I played with white shoe polish,  black sharpie, archival ink and Distress crackle paint by Ranger.
Fuzzy cut these flowers from an Anna Griffith paper.

Above two cards/Fuzzy cut Flowers were distressed with Archival Ink.

This is distressed with White Shoe Polish.

These 3D Anna Griffith Flower Stickers are distressed with a Black Sharpie.
