Hello Everyone,
Glad you stopped by today. It is a start to a new weekly challenge at
Twist of Faith. I am blessed each week to visit you and see your beautiful creations. I love to see all the different styles of creativity we all use. It tickles by creativity into trying new things and tweaking some of my designs always learning more for the better. And challenges are exactly that...to challenge you...whether it be trying a new style, change up your embellishments, use those crafting tools you have not used in a while or with a different twist. Join us this week.
This week the theme is 'Animals' also placing a touch of encouragement by placing a scripture, positive quote/verse, or uplifting quote somewhere on the card.
Our gracious Sponsor is
Meljen's Designs who is offering the winner 4 B/W digi's of your choice.
I have chosen to make two cards using
Meljen Design images. This first one is using image 'piggy bath'. My Grand Daughter loves pigs so I had to play with this adorable sweet piggy. I chose to print the image on K & Company paper, then cut out pig image and added additional coloring before gluing it down.
Supplies Used:
Spellbinders - Floral Motif, Nestabilities, Shapebilities hearts, Cattails
Design Papers - K & Company
Coloring - Faber Castell pencils, USA Artquest watercolors
Here is the second card with the cute image 'Kitty Fish Bowl' created by Melissa Jenkins owner of
Meljen's Design.
Supplies Used:
Spellbinder - Nestabilities
Design Paper - Teresa Collins
Sentiment - Inkadinkado
Embellishments - Charm/Charm Me, Liquid pearls,
Shabby Blue/Embossing Power/Stampendous

I hope my cards have inspired you to join in the fun this week at
'Twist of Faith' where
we are a Family Friendly Challenge Blog with a group of women who love to create cards with a special "twist". Each week we love to share our creativity in giving each card a special touch of encouragement by placing a scripture, positive quote/verse, or uplifting quote somewhere on the card. So be sure to check out the other Design Teams cards by going by the Blog before you submit and share your creation.
Until next time this Shabby Chic Grannie is out.
