Pretty Precolored Printable - 3D Decoupage

Hello Fellow Crafters,

I am so excited to share with you today a card I made as a Guest Designer over at My Besties Pretty Precolored Printables Challenge Blog going on right now for the next two weeks. The THEME: Anything Goes with Option Sparkle, Shine or Glitter featuring a My Besties Printables. I invite you to go to their Blog for more details and to see the fabulous designs created by their Design Team.

This is a new 3D Decoupage Precolored digital image I am using and is available here.

I had a lot of fun making this card. I used Spellbinders Shapeabilities -Gold Elements One and touched up with Gesso and white fine glitter. I also used a couple of Anna Griffin Flourish dies to feature and place the adorable 3D image precolored image. I added some Stickles glitter glue to her  here and there. I used corrugated cardboard which I distressed with Stampendous Fran-tage embossing powder to a Spellbinders die to showcase the sentiment.

I hope you enjoyed my card. Don't forget to go by and visit the My Besties Pretty Precolored Printables Challenge Blog and enter your project.

Until next time this Grannie is out. May blessings of health, happiness and loving-kindness overflow in your daily journey.

Pretty Pre-Colored Printables - My Besties Design Team Call

3D Decoupage Digital Image - Besties Bunny/My Besties by Sherri Baldy

Hello Fellow Crafters,

I am so excited to share that My Besties Pretty Pre-Colored Printable Challenge Blog is having a Design Team Call and I would like to submit my creative inspirations to be a part of their fabulous Team. I have fallen in love with these images since a Fellow Crafter introduced them to me. This Besties Bunny 3D image is one of many Pre-colored printables Sherri Baldy's the Designer of My Besties has put together for us.  I invite you to visit Sherri Baldy's Esty Shop and/or her Products that are also sold at the Scrapbook Stamp Society Shop.  You will find a fun assortment of stamps, digital images, dolls, Design Paper and more.
++++++

Here is my paper project I am submitting for the My Besties Pretty Pre-Colored Printable Design Team. I am featuring the Pre-colored digital 3D Decoupage image called Besties Bunny Designed by Sherri Baldy on a Gift Bag/Gable Box.   I can't wait for you to try making one...you are not going to believe how easy these are to make. Of course you can go fancy like mine and add lacy paper hand punch edging and handmade flowers which I will share all the instructions.  First I want to share the YouTube Video put together by Bridgette who graciously put the how-to-do video together. P
lease try to leave Brigette a comment 'Thanking her' for sharing. And she does it at a slow pace for even someone like me to understand.  You will you need at 8 3/4 by 12 inch Design Paper. I preferably like using double-sided Design Paper it looks prettier when you see the inside design. You will also need a ruler, scissors, score board along with the scorer.

I have also added some pictures down below on how I added the pretty lacy edged paper ribbon on this Gable Box/Gift Bag.
I used a Martha Stewart Edge punch. Unfortunately I do not know the name of this one. I measured its width to figure how wide to cut my 12" paper which came out to 2 1/2 inches but I added a 1/4 inch so that I could place that pretty hot pink ribbon on center.

And what made it easy to add this lacy edge is...I used the same scoring dimensions from the video  going across the 12 inch side which you see I have written on this strip. Once I edge punched the design I can fold on the scored places.I also wanted to share with you the different paper flowers I used to decorate on the box. They are hand cut spiral roses and here is a YouTube video for you if you want to give it a try. I used decorative edge scissors on a couple of the roses and did one with plain scissor cutting.  I also used one of my Spellbinder Shapeabilities Bitty Blossoms I placed on the Joanna Sheen Butterfly Flourish.
Here are a couple more pictures of my completed Gift Bag/Gable Box paper project. I hope you enjoy and try these fun Gable Box/Gift Bags. They would be great for birthday parties or just special gift bags set on your table if you have brunch, tea or fun gathering of special friends.

I hope to hear some good news soon... Until next time this Grannie is out. Bountiful Blessings of all things good and healthy to you and yours.

This project was submitted to My Besties Pretty Pre-colored Printable Challenge Design Team Call- February 2015.

Always Believe Good

Always Believe Angel/My Besties/Sherri Baldy digital image

Hello Fellow Crafters,

I hope you are all doing well and having fun crafting when you can. I have kind pulled away from making cards due to personal things going on with health and home. I love that when times get rough I can release prayers and the heaviness in my heart to the Lord Jesus Christ who cares.  So many times when I am overwhelmed by lifes challenges and attacks God calms me by tickling my creativity. And today I wanted to share this adorable precious digital image by Sherri Baldy a My Besties image called Always Believe Angel.  I need I wanted to do something different with her as I remembered a beautiful craft project done by a fellow crafting Friend named Bonnie Kohane.  You can visit her YouTube here to see and let it inspire you. It was her inspiration that gave me this idea to make her a dimensional paper skirt on a card.

I thought it would be fun and helpful to start sharing my Spectrum Noir pen color numbers I use on my images so in case you are like me wanting to learn to blend and get better at using your Spectrum Noir pens. I know I am not the best but you will be learning with me. It took me a while to learn that I needed to use more than one color to give my images dimension. And I am still learning. I tried some new colors to blend on this adorable My Besties/Always Believe Angel images face which is a good digi to practice on. These are the Spectrum Noir used on her face/body: FS3, CR2, TN2, FS6. It was all a matter of color placement and then blending. Hope this encourages you. I wished more of these great Spectrum Noir colorist would share what pens they use.  I did find a Facebook Page called Spectrum Noir Connosseurs if you want to come join.  I just recently joined it and it has been helpful and a good learning more about your Spectrum Noir kind of page. As well as sharing your colorings.
I also wanted to share how I decorated the inside  of my card with an embossing folder and border folder.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Southern Girls #104 - Winged Things
Sister Act Card #92 - Anything Goes
Penny's Paper Crafty #214 - Embossing(Dry)
Word Art Wednesday #170 - Anything Goes
Inspiration Destination #20 - Anything Goes

Hope you enjoyed your visit. Until next time this Grannie is out. Big Hugs, Blessings to you and Yours. Happy Crafting
