My Little Cap Vixen was colored with Spectrum Noir pencils and hair with Spectrum Noir pens-CR10,EB3,DR5, DR7. The Eiffel Tower is a stamp I heat embossed and cut out with scissors.

Circle of Fun

Hello Fellow Crafter,

I want to share a card I made featuring one of the Sherri Baldy's New Digital Release images 070. You can find it HERE on my beautiful Stately Circle card.

I had so much fun designing my card around her. I love all of Sherri Baldy's images with hats and I was so happy to see this one/Img070 when it came out.  HERE is a Pinterest page with all My Besties by Catagory graciously updated by Bonnie Kohane.  If you want to go straight to the Pinterest My Besties with Hats page you can go HERE.

What I also wanted to share with today is the Design Paper I used on my card. It is from Sherri Baldy's Sweet Geeks CD in the Scrapbook Stamp Society Store. These are just 3 different Design Paper sheets that I printed off the Sweet Geeks CD. As you notice I used the beautiful blue stripes with the big flowers and cut some of the flowers out as embellishments for the front and inside of my card. I also used the beautiful smaller flower design with the blue strips for the inside and back of my card.

For the circle shape of my card I used the Spellbinder Grand Nestabilities - Grand Stately Circles. I also used a Top Dog Doily die. I colored the My Besties Image070 with Spectrum Noir pencils.

Here are my card details:  The yellow designer papers - yellow with pink polka dots and the yellow and pink strips are from this CD/My Besties Sweet Geek Girls. The beautiful delicate and intricately cut  hearts square frame is a Sherri Baldy die which you can find HERE. The fancy edge border on my card is done with Anna Griffin's Embossing/Edge die/Scripted Love. Additional layers by Spellbinders Shapebilities Scalloped Square & Back to Bascis Tags. The sentiment is from My Besties Angel image that comes with this sentiment. The yellow daisies were cut out from a Martha Stewart Design Paper. The Circular intricate pink cut die is by Marianne Design.

Clean and Simple

Hello Fellow Crafters,

Today I am sharing my Clean and Simple Design. If you are one of my regular followers...you know I don't make very many of them. I absolutely love them but they are so hard for me to design. So I went with this adorable My Besties image/Hang in There which comes with a couple of sentiments. I hope you check out the link I shared with you.  These image/Hang in Ther comes with 3jpg files of fun to color. I also finally sat down and used my new set of  Spectrum Noir pencil Tins with the Gamsol solution. It was fun but sadly I could not stay focused on writing down the color numbers to share with you since I pulled pencils from different tins trying to remember where to put them back.  I will have to rethink my coloring process with all me new Spectrum Noir pencil tins. I bought 3 different Tin's from joann.com when they had them for 50% off.  I am making a promise to myself that I want to get better at writing what I use and charting the colors because I love when colorist share what colors they use...as I am a Colorist in learning process with alcohol pens and coloring pencils using Gamsol.

Uptown Girl Audrey-Loves Her Makeup

Today I am sharing the fabulous chic Stamping Bella Cling Rubber Stamp that caught my eye and I had to get...she is so girly.  And when I saw that she came with this fabulous sentiment it was a double bonus. Cuddly Ballerina Bear

My Besties Bear digital image2 -- Designed by Sherri Baldy Designs

Hello Crafters,

Sharing my fun coloring of this adorable My Besties Bear Designed by Sherri Baldy's Designs. Sherri recently released a few of these adorable cuddly bear images and this is just one cute ballerina bear. You can go see them all HERE if you love cuddly bears.  I am not going to lie...it was a big scary decision for me to take the coloring plunge with this adorable bear. It took me a while I looked at her for a month before I got her and then another week or so to color it. I studied looking at several colored bears fellow crafters and Blogs that I follow and finally chose the color I wanted her fur to be. I did color her with Spectrum Noir pens and it took me a bit to figure out which colors blended well.   I got her all colored and was so happy with the turn out...but I am so upset with myself because I did not write the numbers down and I wanted to be sure to share with you and keep the numbers on file because I knew I would want to color another one. Well...I went ahead and colored another one just like it...well the bear only. And I have the Spectrum Noir pen numbers to share with you. I so appreciate when someone else does. Crafty Chick Fun

Sharing today a fun card I made with another one of the new Crafty Chicks(more mature ladies) digital image that was added to the My Besties/Sherri Baldy Designs. I just love these mature looking digis...they have pizzazz with some chic elegant fun about them.  It is funny when I color these...I color them to what colors I would wear...heeee

This one is Img554 you can find her in Sherri Baldy's Etsy Shop.

I colored her with Spectrum Noir. The flower center is from an broken zipper I swirled and hot glued.

Scrapbook Stamp Society Fun

I am here today to share exciting news. I was asked to join a fun Blog called Scrapbook Stamp Society and am now one of their Design Team Members.  I will be sharing and hopefully tickling your creativity to try something new or tweak what I have done and add your own flavor creating with My Besties images twice a month.  That is what is so fun about crafting from the heart as Artisans we all give our creations a touch of ourselves making it unique.

I am coming to you from my little craft haven in Texas.   I always new I loved arts and crafts since little. I loved transforming my coloring book pages with color and painting ceramics was a long time love. I dabbled with paper mache' in art class and I was blessed to learn embroidery through my Grandmother. Now that I am older and had to take early retirement through physical disability I am glad to say I have found  my happy place and happy heart  in making cards, playing with mixed media, altering items and making my own flower embellishments. Crafting has become my outsource of all things good as my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ inspires and tickles my creativity.

My first project I am sharing with you is a fun card I made using the adorable My Besties digital image106 - Lil Lovely Hearts that you can find in Sherri Bald'y Etsy Shop.  Here she is before coloring. I love her adorable face and sweet facial expression so I had to buy her for two reasons I love her expression that draws you in and because she is perfect to print multiple times on a page to use as practice for trying different skin tones and hair colors with my Spectrum Noir Pens as I learn to get better on the flickering/feathering technique on her hair strands
