Pop of Suprise

Hello Everyone,

Here today sharing with you a My Bestie popping out of  a cake. Suprise! Isn't she the sweetest and you can color the cake any flavor you choose.  She is one of the New June Release My Besties/Sweet Treats images Sherri Baldy has designed.  My whole image was colored using Prismacolor pencils. I decided to color the cake a delicious strawberry with chocolate trimmings.

Uniquely Special

My Besties/Willow Wisp Fairy 3D digital Decoupage Image


Hello Fellow Crafters,

Today I am sharing with you a card I made for one of my Neighbors daughters. I wanted it to be special and unique as her High School Graduation card. I am known for being different so I went with what I had in my heart. And as I cut and put this My Besties/Willow Wisp 3D Fairy together I knew I wanted to design a special card for her new adventures she had in mind to take.  And I wanted her toknow that "Jesus Love Her" and Joy, Faith and Believe God is with her on her new Life's Journey would be important nuggets for her to hold on to.

Card Recipe
I hand cut with scissor the 3D Willow Wisp Fairy digital image and put it together with pop dots. Added some extra touch putting glitter in and there. Also decorating some of the image with Ranger Pearl drops. I embossed a sheet parchment paper using an Anna Griffin/Cuttlebug embossing folder. I used a Martha Stewart corner punch on the edges. I also used the same corner punch for the outer edge of the card. I have my Willow Wisp 3D Fairy on a Spellbinders Oval die then placed on a Spellbinders Shapebilities/Gold Label Four die .  The word sentiments are created on Word.doc in different Font Styles set on size 12 Font, some are in bold. The "Jesus Love You" Sentiment is from an Inkadinkado Stamp set I ordered a long time ago from HobbyLobby.com.  I added some Stickles to my flowers.

You're Tea-riffic

Hello Fellow Crafters,

Today I am going to share three cards of one of my many new favorite My Besties digital images Sherri Baldy has designed. You can find them in her Etsy Store. I am not sure if the 50% off Flash Sale is going on when you read this but I would check it out---using CODE: YOURSPECIAL50. I love this Image 635 so much I used it to make three different card designs. This sweet adorable image I am talking about is one of several new My Bestie images called 'Sweet Treats'. There are a couple different designs in these adorable teacups.  I chose to play with this one, Image  635.

This Image 635 I colored with Prismacolor pencils and made an easel card.

This Image 635 was colored by Sherri Ann Baldy and I made a regular card with all my pretty embellishments.

This one was colored by Sherri Ann Baldy. I printed it/Img635  5 times and made it into a 3D decoupage card.

Steampunk ahead with My Besties

Hello Everyone,

I am here today sharing with you a new 3D Decoupage Sheet that was added to Sherri Baldy's Scrapbook Stamp Society Store. You can find her Here.  This is how she come when you print her.

I love playing with My Besties 3D images and even more so when a Steampunk 3D Sheet is available. I do cut my with a pair of scissors by hand. I do know some of you crafters out there use your Cutting Machine to do this. I have one of the original Cricut Machines but it does not have that capability.  I am more than happy to share a YOUTUBE Video done by one of our My Besties Crafters, Janie who gives her instructions using a Cricut Explorer link HERE.

I had fun putting all my embellishment together for this Steampunk project. My gears are by Spellbinders. The Vintage tricycle is by Memory Box which I double layered. My flowers are made with Spellbinders which I cut out to make spiral flowers and glittered the edges.

Here is a picture of the Spellbinder Shapeabilities  Floral Motif dies that I used cut up and turned into these beautiful spiral flowers. I also wanted to share a crafting tip on cleaning out some of those intricate dies that have all those little cuts and become tedious on cleaning. I am using a baby bottle nipple brush and it does a great job. I got tired of poking each one out and thought of trying the baby bottle brush idea.

Scrapbook Fun

Hello Fellow Crafters,

Here today sharing my fun with a Mari's Digital image colored with Spectrum Noir pencil and used as part of my Design on a couple Scrapbook pages. I tried something different. I actually made a copy of my colored Mari's digital image and then re-colored a few areas that came out a little light like her blouse, bows and complexion.

Here are my two Scrapbook pages with my sweet, lovely and precious 16 year old Grand Daughter.

This has the Mari's Digital image I made a copy of and changed the colors slightly.

I must share that these are pre-designed and decorated scrapbook pages by Anna Griffin. All I had to do was slip in the pictures and add anything I wanted to enhance. I just love all Anna's stuff.
