Love, Hope & Joy to You Always

Hello Everyone,
Sharing a special Christmas card I made. Sending you good tidings for a joyful holiday season filled with hope and joy.  Reminding you...YOU are loved by the one who created all things, God the Father.
 This sweet stamped image was created by Sylvia Zet who has her images available in her store called Wee Stamps. During the next few weeks as I share some of my cards with images created by my favorite designers I also want to take special time with you sharing nuggets from God's word that have encouraged my spirit, strengthened my mind and filled my soul and heart overflowing with God's love and I know they will do the same for you if you are ready to receive with an open heart. 
Ephesians 3:14-19
For this reason I kneel before the Father, from whom his whole family in heaven and on earth derives its name. I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith.  And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge--that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.

Let's Spread Joy

Hello Everyone...

I am having so much fun this year working on my Christmas cards. I shared with you previously I was going to be using some of my favorite stamps and making them unique for each person/family that receives them.  Here is one from my favorite Digital Designer Melissa with her Shop being called Meljen's Design which is also having a Holiday Sale in her Store with her entire digi's 50% off until November 30th.  I have such a long wish list and will be getting a few more. I bought the 'Gift bow Christmas Fairy' on her last sale and bought this 'Joy Garland' this round to try something new I am learning. I forgot the proper technique name but it is merging the two digital stamps together using the png digital image to look like one...and I thought these two were perfect.
I used my new Spectrum Noir markers to color with added touches of glitter glue by Recollections and Martha Stewart glue pens. My pretty poinsettia made with K & Company Design paper using Spellbinders dies also for the frame.

Let's spread Joy...this season.   A smile, a gentle and sweet hello or how are you to the person in line at the store in front or behind you can make a world of difference in a person's life. You may be saving that person's life.

Bearing Gifts...Happy Holidays

Hello Everyone, Happy Holidays...
 
Here today sharing a couple of new digital releases at the DigiStamps4Joy Store I got to have fun creating this Christmas card. One of the digital images is Mini Misteri-Bearing Gifts and the other Bottle Cap inserts/Christmas1 (this is actually a set of two but I only used one. I actually had bottle caps to put them in but I preferred creating this pretty glittered mini-medallion. That is what is so awesome about using digital images you can change the size to your fitting and use.

On this project I had fun using my mini-Christmas Tree Sizzix embossing folder and cut out the tree shape, layered three to look like one taller dimensional Christmas Tree and then placed two more to add scenery. I embellished them with Ranger white Liquid pearls. My poinsettia's are Spellbinders along with the greenery. I enlarged the bottle cap sentiment to 2 inches..diecut and manually cut a ribbon tail, glittered edge of bottle cap and the ribbon.

Time for Anything but a Card

Hello Everyone,

I have been missing playing with my House-Mouse stamps. And finally got some fun playtime coloring this adorable 'The Thinker' with Amanda mouse. My creativity got tickled as I was inspired by one of my favorite Challenge Blog's House-Mouse & Friends to join in their challenge.  I had bought a packet of 3 natural plain gift bags at the dollar store awhile back knowing I wanted to decorate them so this gave me the nudge to start...on at least one as a Thank you gift bag. I went ahead and left off a sentiment  so they could reuse how they wanted.  I decorated the other side also with this pretty design paper by K & Company along with a cardboard lining on the inside bottom. I also fuzzy cut the top of the bag with scallops edges.
It was quite easy and fun once I found the design paper and decided on a fall like neutral color theme. I gave it a special touch of tender loving care by tying some yellow string with double loop knots every few centimeters on each handle to give it a pop of color and special look.

Wishing you Joy and Peace

 

Hello Everyone,

It is new Digi Release Sunday over at the DigiStamps4Joy Store and I also 'Wish you Joy and Peace at the Holidays and throughout the Year'(also available in the DS4J Store). The new image I am sharing is called Misteri and her BFF created by JenLee. I went ahead and made this as a Christmas Card for one of my Cousins who loves pink. We are...starting to have some cold evenings here in south Texas...cold is anything lower than 65 to me. I know...that is summer for some...We rarely have snow but we dress cute in our sweaters and boots so I loving this girly wintry image. I invite you to go by the DigiStamps4Joy Store to see the other fun images. Thankful Blessings...

Digi Image: Mini Misteri-Apple Basket - Digistamps4Joy

Hello Everyone,

Sharing with you today a Thanksgiving card I made for a special friend. I am so glad I think out of the box...sometimes...because this precious image of Mini Misteri-Apple Basket is going to work wonderfully for a friend I am thankful to have...I know you see my apples are orange...it is because the friend I am sending this card to was so kind to have brought me a wonderful bunch of her deliciously sweet home grown oranges.  I am so grateful for her friendship for so many reasons. I enjoy her visits and calls just to see how I am.

 I just love the way this card came out...I can't wait to share with you the Christmas card I am going to also make with this precious image Mini Misteri who has a series of images in the DigiStamps4Joy Store...all sweet different poses and fun dress-up styles wonderfully created by JenLee.

I finally caved in and purchased some alcohol markers as an early Christmas gift to myself. I got them last week JoAnn Fabrics had the Spectrum Noir markers 40% off online so I went for it. I still enjoy and feel more comfortable using my Faber-Castell, Anna Griffin, Derwent and Primacolor pencils.  I don't mind saying I am still learning how to blend my color pencils much less now excited to learn and check out Youtube videos on how to use these Spectrum Noir markers.

My Start to Holiday Creative Fun

Hi Everyone,
It's time for me to start working on my Christmas cards and I have not even done one Thanksgiving card so I need to get the ball a rolling. I will be doing a few...because I am gracious for you as friends and followers. I love that I can share them with you because I have so much to be thankful for including this wonderful journey in cyberworld  with all sorts of creativity.
 
Last month I decided to reorganize my craftroom which still has me a little out of sorts.  I am still needing to make a couple of additional changes. I can't wait to see the final setup.  My son will be putting some shelves I ordered together for my final work station.   
 
This year on my Christmas cards I decided to do a variety...a total of twenty with ten of them each being unique with some of my favorite digital and stamp images. I will try...seriously it is so hard for me...I did say try to make ten of them regular postage Post Office worthy . The others I plan to go fun crazy with dimension and layers because I will be giving those in person.

Misteri -Professional Assistant

Hi Everyone,

This image brought one of my Sister's into mind and heart. She is putting a lot of  hard, long working hours into work and loves what she does...putting her whole heart into it sometimes can be draining.  So this scripture/sentiment was perfect and an encouraging word for me to send to her at this time.

I love this Handyman digi created by our own Margy.  And it was perfect timing for me on how I wanted to use it on a card for my Son.  He has been going through some more than usual challenges, difficult choices and life's stresses as an adult, husband, father and provider.  As a praying, believing and walking in faith Mother I not only see my Son the handyman with tools but admiring and seeing as my Son develops the use of tools our God has given as armor to use in our life's journey building character, trust and faith in our Lord Jesus Christ.

Ephesian 6:10-11
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.  Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes.

DigiStamps4Joy Challenge #79 - Sandwich - 3 design papers, 3 layers

DigiStamps4Joy is starting a new Challenge #79 - theme  Sandwich using 3 different design papers and 3 layers to your creation. The fun theme is hosted by our own Design Team Member Charlene.
