Altered Playing Card with LoVe

Hi Everyone...Missed You!
Sharing these fun altered playing cards. I wish I came up with the idea myself but the fact is Authentic Paper had a guest Designer Natalie Dever who came up with her beautiful versions of some.  I think they make wonderful keepsakes.  Also you all know I love using my Cuttlebug techniques and use it everytime I can.  Well, one of my Cuttlebugging Facebook friends shared an 'embedding technique' with Cuttlebug embossing folders..I had to try and the idea was perfect for these little babes.  FYI...I did send the intricate pieces through my Xyron and glued where I wanted them positioned  before embossing through my Cuttlebug machine. And Woohoo! this 'heart' embossing Cuttlebug Folder is from Anna Griffin.  Anna has new embossing folders now that she has companied with ProvoCraft...what an awesome new world that is going to be. Yup...I got her new Cuttlebug Machine with 23 of her new folders..they are beautiful..just saying. I just happen to catch HSN.com when they introduced it. I know I am making your mouth water..with crafty delights.
I used Martha Stewarts Valentine Collection paper from last year to get the cute little cut outs of "Be Mine" and "Sealed with a Kiss" along with some little goodies I ordered from PeachyCheap.com.  What is so cute is the playing cards are even pretty on the backside with a cute kitten...apologies I forgot to take picture of the backside.

apologies for the shadow on the rose medallion(from PeachyCheap.com)

I had so much fun making these cards..can't wait to make more...Hope you all try this and have fun.  I love how each person puts their own personality into their work...tweaking it to look beautiful in a new way.

To "You" with Love...take the journey and give this your own touch...
