Jingle Bells...Noel...Seasons Greetings

Hello  Everyone,

Sharing a Christmas card made with some of my favorite digital images. I wish I could say I came up with the ornament and design idea myself but I saw it done on Pinterest and tweaked it  giving it dimension and using what I had. The greenery is a die from Spellbinders/Foilage. The ornament digital image is called Christmas Bauble and was designed by Janlee available in the DigiStamps4Joy Store. The background called  Christmas Paper was created by Margy also from DigiStamps4Joy.

 I fell in love with the 'Christmas Bauble' because the design reminds me of zentangle/doodle art and the 'Christmas paper' has a lot of great sentiments tickling those enjoyable Christmas pastimes. I remember when my Son was about 5 years old I made him a Christmas stocking using the hook loop technique but what makes it even more special is my Dad did the stocking backing. I still have it and fill it for him when he comes over for Christmas and he is 34 years old...what can I say..he is my only child and still enjoys it...of course I fill one for his wife too.  I love playing Christmas songs like Noel and Silent Night filling the house with joyous Christmas spirit celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ.

John 1:1-4
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made: without him nothing was made that has been made. I him was life, and that life was the light of men.
+++++
On creating my card using the Christmas Paper I new I wanted to glitter it and dry emboss it with one of  Anna Griffin Holly Christmas folders. After fuzzy cutting the Christmas Bauble out I went ahead and used my embossing tools to give it dimension. I love the way it pops out of the card nicely adding the greenery and hemp string. I distressed the card edges with scissors and inked. I colored the bauble with Spectrum Noir.
