Little Pixie Fancy Pants

Hello Fellow Crafters and Followers,

Here today sharing another sweet Sherri Baldy/My Besties image. The image I decided to play with is 'Little Pixie Fancy Pants'. I think I went a little crazy last month when I found Sherri Baldy/My Besties images were 50% off at her Etsy Shop.  I bought about 10 if not close to it chipping away at my wishlist. I tell you my list just got bigger again. This particular Little Pixie Fancy Pants image is part of Sherri Baldy's "Fancy Pants" series which has just been added several new precious images the past few days of August. Not to mention a couple of new 3D Deco kits that were added. I want to color and play with them all. I need to start selling my cards.

As I was going through my Design papers I found this beautiful purple hyacinth with green polkadots background by 3 Birds Design Paper.   I decided I wanted to work a 3D look with the flowers behind my image so I fuzzy cut some of the specific  flowers then cut some of the frilled edges and glued then down and/or pop-dot them to meet my design needs.  I think she is a little sunshine cutie among the flowers. On another note I so desperately trying to get better at coloring hair. I can't afford those wonderful classes they offer so I try looking at Youtube Videos but I can't seem to get it to soak in as quick as I want. I guess some people just have it and it takes me a lot more practice before it clicks. Anyway I am pleased at this turnout.

My sentiment is from JustRite Stamps a really old retired one but I love it. My metal decorated bling embellishment is from my stash of on sale goodies I bought at Michael's.

Fun with Willow Wisp Fairy

Digital Image-Willow Wisp Fairy 3D Deco by Sherri Baldy/My Besties

Hello Everyone,

I am sharing with you today the adorable 'Willow Wisp Fairy' this is from Sherri Baldy's My Besties 3D Decoupage Card Kit. It is also available in a black and white digital image. I am afraid you will be seeing me share quite a few of these 3D Decoupauge designs because I have fallen in love with the fun in them. They do take a little extra work in cutting the pieces out but they are well worth it.

I had fun using my Martha Stewart glitter pens to fancy up the wings and head band.You can't see it very well but I put some white tulle and sprinkled some fine pink glitter on it behind the wings. I placed some Ranger Liquid Pearls on the clothes to give more dimension.  I fuzzy cut the flowers trom a page that come with the 3D Deco kit and delicately placed them to surround Willow Wisp Fairy.

The diecuts I used to layer and use for background are several of Spellbinders Nestabilities; Timeless Rectangle, Decorative Labels Twenty-Eight and Opulent Ovals. I used Anna Griffin/Cuttlebug embossing folder Rosette Cluster. The pearls and bling are from my stash by Recollections.

The supplies I used are the Spellbinders Grand Rectangle, Nestabilities Decorative Labels twenty-Eight. My lattice paper easel die is from JoyCrafts! The dry embossing was done with Anna Griffin/Cuttlebug Folder. I fuzzy cut out my image 'Music Sheet' by hand. Embellishing using my pearls and ribbon from my stash. The charm is from a lot I bought from Hobby Lobby during one of their 50% off Jewelry Charms.

Fun with 'My Little Dimples'

Hello Everyone,

Isn't she just adorable. Let me introduce one of Sherri Baldy's/My Besties pre-colored digital image 'My Little Dimples' this is one image that comes in the 3D Deco 'My Little Dimples' series she has.  If you visited my previous post this is part of the Digital 3D kit I got. Here is my previous post if you want to visit and see how I finished up the 3D Deco image that comes with the kit on this precious image.  I have attached the 3D Deco kit page so you can see what all you get with the kit. And right now Sherri Baldy has a 50% off with the CODE:YOURSPECIAL50. I hope you go visit her Etsy Shop I have been taking advantage of knocking some of my favorites off my list even some of these 3D Deco kits.

I wanted to take this opportunity to share with you all the fun I have been having with this particular 3D kit and all the pieces it comes with. I do have to share I am one of those that feels guilty if I don't color my own image but this has helped me get over it.   Here is what I did with this part of the 3D deco sheets. I fuzzy cut one with My Little Dimples on it and the other the decorated page with the roses on the edge.

3D Extravaganza

Sharing my new found crafting fun and love for 3D Decoupage images by Sherri Baldy with her delightful My Besties.  This particular 3D image is one of Sherri Baldy's My Little Dimples series. I just love them.  This particular My Little Dimples image comes in a 3D Decoupage kit that comes with a pre-colored image with several pieces that you fuzzy cut and layer. Check out her Etsy shop for more details HERE. I would not have found them if I had not met some new Craft friends Annette and Angela on a new My Besties Challenge Blog called 'Meet at the Scrappers Corner' where they have a monthly Challenge with any paper creation including a My Bestie image following their theme. It is amazing all the new friends you can make clear across the world in Cyber world. Not to mention all the fun new craft fun and ideas people share.

I went ahead and chose to showcase this sweet image on a tag to enter  My Besties 3D Deco Blog Challenge they have going on right now with the THEME: Tag You're It!

I found it quite therapeutic cutting the pieces. When I first found out about them before looking at Sherri Baldy's Etsy site I thought I was going to have to color them too...which really would have taken longer. I have worked and done some 3D Paper Piecing projects and thought they were the same but they are quite different. SO with all that said here is a final look at my tag I designed with so much fun and love.

I wanted to show you the back of the tag. I love using my Cuttlebug embossing folders to give the back of  my cards and tags a pretty finish. I inked the folder before embossing just like I did the front. I hope you enjoyed and I inspired you.

My Money Tree

Hello Everybody,

It is New Release Sunday at the DigiStamps4Joy Shop. Here is a fun digital image to play with called 'My Money Tree'.  Don't we all wish we had one. I merged DigiStamps4Joy Digital Image 'Misteri Gardenerr' with the new 'My Money Tree' image. I thought she was perfect to water the Money Tree.  It made me think of when I worked in the office when we would setup a money tree for someones Birthday or Retirement Celebration.

Clean and Simple

Hello Everyone,


I am having fun with Clean and Simple. I am one of those in this crafting mission that has to keep the definition in my site when working this project. I know...it sounds silly but I do. I wanted to create a quick but beautiful card using this wonderfully pre-colored image called Shabby Chic Birdhouse by Beccy's Place. She has some of the most sweet images that tickle my creativity and tug at my heart bringing sweet memories of growing up. This is just one sweet one. It comes with the precolored and a black and white image so you can color to your liking. The sentiment is also from Beccy's Place.

I am going to share with you the definition of Clean and Simple I picked up from CAS on Sunday's to keep on hand.

Here is what I did with Arch Dancer as I dressed her in pretty purples and lime-green .
