The Theme : Create a shaped card.  Create a card or paper creation based on ANY digi you want. If you use a DigiStamps4Joy image you can win $10 to spend in the DigiStamps4Joy Store.  If you use one from the 'other' guys the top randomly drawn winner will win TWO images of your choice from the store, and 2 runners up 1 image each.

Selena Won My Heart

I get to share with you my play with 'Selena'. She is so precious. I decided to also add another one of DigiStamps4Joy digital image called 'heart bunting'. Below is a copy of the digi image because I tweaked it to fit my design on the card and I want you to see how it comes beautiful as it is but I wanted to show you what all you can do with it, like I did. I fuzzy cut mine out for dimension.

Cute and Simple

Hello Everyone,

Sharing a cute, clean and simple card today which is really hard for me. I don't know why it is such a challenge but here goes. Laugh out loud at least there was a simple way to add embellishments by setting a couple different type of  faux stitches in my design.

I made this card for my Sister who recently got the cutest puppy but also to send her a couple of family pictures my Son took for Father's Day at a Studio.

I colored with Spectrum Noir and used a black gel pen for the faux stitches. Spellbinder Nestabilities Circles and Scallop Circle framed my cute image 'Cute Got Cuter' by All Dressed Up which is one of their freebies you can check out on their tabs on their Blog.

Happy Father's Day

Hello Everyone,

The days have past so quickly this month I did not realize it is Father's Day this coming Sunday. For some reason I thought it was next week...which is this week...silly me...I got lost in my days. I am glad I asked my Son if he wanted to have a fabulous tasty BBQ brisket we were introduced to or else I would have really messed up.

I had been putting off sharing my card thinking I had more time...go figure. Well anywho...this is a Happy Father's Day card I made for my Son. I used DigiStamps4Joy image 'Fishing Tackle'. My Son loves fishing and I love this image so it was perfect to bring forth some fun fishing memories he has had.

Just For You...

Hello Everyone,

Sharing this special card I made with touches of shabby chic loveliness. I have found this new collection of images and stamps that I absolutely love by Sherri Baldy called My Besties.  They are all so fun and adorable. I have created such a big wishlist.  You should check out the jaw-dropping creations by My Besties Challenge Design Team.  This particular image is one in her series called 'My Little Dimples'...and I have quite a few favorites in Sherri Baldy's 'Dimples' series.

 I had so much fun making this card by using my stash of goodies...all sorts of fun crafty knik knaks I've made through air dry clay molds, cut out paper embellishments, flower cabochons and Spellbinder Shapebilities, not to forget my Marianne Heart Doilie and Cuttlebug embossing folder.

This image was perfect for sweet nuggets of little sentiments I wanted to share with a special young lady.  Sometimes we get so caught up in life's adventures and challenges that we get turned inside out and it is good to be reminded 'Jesus Loves You'. I know it helps me to slow down and soak in the days goodness Jesus pours upon my day.  So...my friend remember Jesus Loves you and wants to be a part of your day so you can see the many blessings he has in store for you.

Here is my Open-gate card creation using DigiStamps4Joy digital image called 'King Protea'. There are so many ways you can use flowers on your creation. I decided to go with a Flower image but you can add flowers, doodle flowers whatever tickles your flower fancy. I hope it tickled your creativity and you come join the fun. 

I used several Anna Griffin/Cuttlebug embossing folders, Spellbinders Nestabilities. I colored my images with Spectrum Noir.

Freebie Friday

Congrats Grad...

Hello Everyone,

I am here today sharing my unique Graduation card for one of my Niece's.  As I was pondering on my design and looking through my digital images and stamps.  This stamp called 'Musical Walk' by Hero Arts caught my attention. It hit the right spot of what I wanted to show how I felt in shouting and blowing the celebration horns for her wonderful accomplishment.

I wanted to share with you the great tip and DYI I found on Pinterest on making the graduation hat. Here  at Just Julie B's blog...all I did different was score it some seam lines to give it more dimension. I handmade the tassel with Hemp/string and the help of using a fork...haaaa how about that for fun creativeness.

The supplies I used were Provocraft/Cuttlebug Letter die set for my Congrat and Grad. Spellbinders Nestabilities Stately Circles, Decorative Labels Eight, Back to Basics Tags, Fancy Framed Tags Two and Circles. My bling and pearls are by Recollections. I distressed the edge of my card with white embossing powder by Zing. My cardstock is by Bazill.

Hello Everyone...

It's Monday and already the month of June. Not only are the days, months and time going fast but it's time for me to celebrate another Birthday in a few days. I remember when my health was good enough to go on  long mile walks with spurts of running in the midst as I let my mind roam with challenges, accomplishments throughout the day with new goals being set as I burn off weight.  Life's journey is a constant check on self chipping off bad attitudes and character that can be picked up in daily challenges. I am so grateful through looking back that God kept his hand on me and I can be the Star he wants me to be.

Last night as I looked through my files of fun Digital Images this one called 'Jogging Jane' by Polkadoodles tickled my creativity with sweet thoughts of one of my Nieces. So I had to plunge in the fun in creating her a card to end the school year and start the summer.
