Keep in Touch

Hi Everyone,

Keeping in touch now a days has had some marvelous perks. Cellphones giving us easy and convenient communication seem to be a part of our daily lives. I love when my Grand Daughter or Nieces send me updated pictures of their fun activities that I cannot attend. So I will be sharing a card I made with a special new digital image created by Artist  JenLee.

I am excited every week I get to be a part of DigiStamps4Joy - Store new Release Sunday.  And today is one.  I get to share the fun I had playing with  Misteri 'Keep in Touch'  one of the new images and all are in the Store now.  I invite you to go by DigiStamps4Joy Blog and see the inspiration by my other Design Teamies.

Inspired by A Song

Hello Everyone,

It is Tuesday and time for Twist of Faith to start up a new Challenge week. The theme is 'Inspired by a Song' with the twist of placing a scripture, uplifting quote, words of encouragement or inspiring quote somewhere on the card.

I chose to use a Eureka Digi image the 'Stained Glass Cross' on my card as  I was inspired by the song You Are My King Amazing Love by the Newsboys.  Here are some of the lyrics that pulled the strings to my heart reminding me how God's amazing love overflows into my life filling it with peace and joy beyond my understanding.
Amazing Love
I am forgiven because you were forsaken. I am accepted, you were condemned.
I am alive and well your spirit lives within me because
you died and rose again.
Amazing Love, how can it be that you, my King should die for me?
Amazing Love I know it's true. It's my joy to honor you In All I do
I honor you.

I love to hear Praise and Worship music. It has a way of bringing my heart to soak in the goodness God has done in my life and is doing in the midst. All the cares of the world don't seem so big.  Through worship God fills my spirit with encouragement and His love building my trust and hope in Him. As I heard this song 'You Are My King' Amazing Love did just that. Here it is being sung by the Newsboys for you. I hope it blesses your soul...reminding you...YOU ARE LOVED.  http://youtu.be/RaPFTFvs8rQ

Supplies Used:
Design Paper: K & Company, Recollections
Spellbinder: Grand Nestabilities, Shapebilities
Recollections: Bling
Sentiment: computer generated
Watercolors/Artist Loft

Be sure to go by the Twist of Faith Blog for more inspiration.

Until next time this Frugal Grannie is out...Hugs

Sssh...You are on Santa's Good List

Hi Everyone...
Today is DigiStamps4Joy Sunday New Digi Release day.  And I have the priviledge of  playing with one of the newly added images to the Misteri series. This is Misteri - Santa's Secret.  Go by the Store and or Blog and check out what the Design Team did with some of the other new releases.  You have to check out the "O" look image...I love it.
I decided to go with a monochrome design. First because I was inspired by Margy one of the Artist for DigiStamps4Joy and her coloring of 'Sharon' one of DS4J images. And second because I chose to make this for my sweet dainty Daughter-in-Law to give my Son for their first Christmas so I wanted to make it sassy yet elegant.
Supplies Used:
Spellbinders: Poinsettia, Radiant Rectangles,
Dry Embossing: Sizzix Christmas tree, Cuttlebug/Deer Run, Fabric Swatches
Martha Stewart, White Hematite glitter pens
Ranger: Pearl drops
Bling: Recollections
Design Paper: DCWV
I am submitting this card in the following challenges:

I hope you enjoyed a glimpse of Misteri - Santa's Secret in my world of creativity and go by DigiStamps4Joy and check out all the great and fun digi's you can play with.
