This is Misteri - Santa's Secret.  Go by the Store and or Blog and check out what the Design Team did with some of the other new releases.  You have to check out the "O" look image...I love it.
I decided to go with a monochrome design. First because I was inspired by Margy one of the Artist for DigiStamps4Joy and her coloring of 'Sharon' one of DS4J images. And second because I chose to make this for my sweet dainty Daughter-in-Law to give my Son for their first Christmas so I wanted to make it sassy yet elegant.

Spellbinders: Poinsettia, Radiant Rectangles,
Dry Embossing: Sizzix Christmas tree, Cuttlebug/Deer Run, Fabric Swatches
Martha Stewart, White Hematite glitter pens

Misteri the Artist

Hello Everyone...

Sharing with you today one of several Sunday New Release images over at DigiStamps4Joy. This precious image is one of  several new additions to the Misteri Series called  Misteri the Artist. I absolutely love her...well I love them all...wait until you see all the other ones on the Blog and what the Design Team has done with them...especially Jen the Artist and Creator of these fabulous images.

I had so much fun making this scenic style card imaging the Artist enjoying the day painting in the garden. How relaxing and enjoyable...I enjoy days like this in Autumn.
I did some recycling on the scenic design...some if it came from an old card. The easel is recycled and made from a magazine page that had printed woodgrain...I rolled, cut accordingly and glued,  the frame that 'Freckled Faced Fairy'/also in the DigiStamps4Joy store is set in a handmade airdry clay and mold frame from Martha Stewart.  I wanted to give the clouds dimension so I painted them with Gesso.
Supplies Used:
Images: Misteri the Artist & Freckled Face Fairy/DigiStamps4Joy
Embellishments: Martha Steward clay mold, flowers from stash, white Gesso, handmade easel,
Coloring: Derwent & Faber Castel Pencils
Cuttlebug/Anna Griffin- dry embossing folder
Sentiment: Stamp Art by Kathyrne
I am entering this card in the following Challenges:
2 Sisters Challenge #162 - Recycle(old card background & Magazine page)
Creative Knockouts #3 - Texturize It(Gesso/Dry Embossing/3Dimension)

Pocahontas New Addition to the Misteri Image Series

Hello Everyone,
Having fun with one of DigiStamps4Joy new Digi's they released this past Sunday. She is called Misteri as Pocahontas one of many in the Misteri series and available in the Shop.

As I decided to color Pocahontas...I chose to pick my flower colors instead of my design paper since my premade flowers were limited and my energies had been low to rebuild my stock. I figure since I had
plenty of choices of design paper in my stock I would not have to run to the craft store for flowers. I also new I wanted to use these feathers I had hand in stock. As I brought Pocahontas to life with color the more she reminded me of this scripture 'Her Children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her. Proverbs 31: 28 . She began to radiate natural elegance, beauty, confidence and gentleness, Something I pray for and try to become daily as I am drawn closer to God.

Supplies Used:
Image: Misteri Pocohontas/DigiStamps4Joy
Flowers: Recollections
Sentiment: Computer generated
Coloring: Recollections Watercolors
Design paper - K & Company

Hues of One Color with Twist of Faith

Hello Everyone

It's Tuesday...time for another new 'Twist of Faith Card Challenge'. Please go by the Blog to see who last weeks winner is. I find it inspiring every week to go by Participant's Blogs enjoying your creativity. This week the 'Theme' is Hues of One Color or Monochromatic. The gracious Sponsor is Melonheadz Illustrations who is giving the winners choice an image bundle.

Melonheadz Illustrations gave the Design Team Images to work with...Thank you Melonheadz.
I chose to work with the 'leaf' because I loved how the Artist put their name on the tail end of the leaf branch. I thought it added a special touch of the creator so I decided I wanted to try something new that I had not done with a digital image. I rotated the image and went with using multiples of three. I  also decided to go with hues of one color-beige and the card style clean and simple.

Supplies Used:
Digital Image: Leaf/Melonheadz Illustrations
Paper: K & Company, Recollections
Sentiment: Stampendous!
Pearls:  Recollections
Embossing Powder: Zing!/Chestnut
Ink: Archival/Sepia

I am submitting this card in the following Challenges:

I hope my card inspired you to join the weekly challenge at Twist of Faith...be sure to go by the Blog and check out the other Design Teams cards for inspiration.
