Pocket Full of Raggedies...

Hello Fellow Crafters,

I am here today sharing some beautiful reds in my card design from the digital design paper Raggedies Collection. Sometimes it's hard to design and tone down bright reds when you want to give it a happy yet calm tones...I love to use the alot as a patriotic, bold reds yet calm my design setting with a feminine touch. I fell in love with this Miss Daisy Stamps, We Are 3 Digital Design Paper/Raggedies Collection.  It has a fabulous array of Red, White and Blues.

I know the paper Designer designed this Raggedies Collection for her love of Raggedy Ann dolls which are the most adorable images but since Fourth of July is around the corner this paper took me a different direction.  HERE is a link in My Daisy Stamps that has a special section for their Raggedy Doll digital images called Raggedies so you can go check these adorable digital images out.

Here is a look at the 8 digital sheets you get in this Raggedies Collection
I made a fun 5 1/2 by 5 pocket card with a  5 x 4 3/4  insert.

The sentiment on the card insert is by Crafters Companion. I used a Martha Stewart hand punch to decorate the top and bottom edges of the white paper portion.

My adorable stamp of the boy and girl trumpeting is a Hero's Art Stamp/Musical Walk which I have had for a couple years. One of those 40% off specials at Hobby Lobby. My heart shaped with 'Jesus Loves You' stamp sentiment is by Inkadinkado.

I wanted to share with you this fun little technique I love doing with some of my stamps. Sadly I forgot what this technique it is called and I forgot to add the tiny heart stamp so you could see. But I first stamp the heart stamp...cut that shape out then I can use my XOstamp over that and it comes out inside the heart framed stamp. I hope you get the gest of it and try it. As you can see I have used my template alot.

I hope you enjoyed your visit and I inspired you to try something new.  Until next time Happy Crafting...Peace, Joy and good Health to you and yours.

I am sharing my fun design team project with you. I designed another Tag featuring the adorable Colored Printable "cp m2" that I used as a card topper but in my instance a tag topper.  My foundation is a Size #8 tag, 6 1/4 x 3 1/2 .   I covered it with one of the Printable sheets in the My Besties Grunge Design Paper Pack called the Printable Blue Rose Garden Aqua 8 sheets of 6x6  which I embossed with blue ink with a Cuttlebug Heart folder. I also cut some of the flower designs out from one of the sheets from the Blue Rose Garden Aqua pack with scissors embossed with my Mcgill Embossing pen set. along with Design Paper Pack. To give my tag another pop of pink somewhere on my tag that is in my adorable big hat Bestie "cp m2" digital precolored image I used this scrap I had left from the beautiful Besties Paris Birds 8 pack Printable Design Paper.  I added a few more embellishments to finish up my tag to my liking.

Tag You Are It! -- In the Garden

Today I will be sharing with you the fun I have when putting my Tags together. First I am using several of the fun papers, images, and elements you get in the My Besties "In the Garden" CD. I am not Tech savvy but I will share with you what I use the My Besties CD's on. I have an HP, Windows 10 computer and when playing with the CD's to print the images I want to use for my design I use Microsoft Word.  I don't want to get off subject but the Sherri Baldy/My Besties CD's are well worth the money and more.  Sherri literally gives us 100's of digital images in jpg and png to color, cut, make into 3D projects in these CD's you get a fun array of design papers, images, card toppers, elements to go with each featured style My Besties image on the CD. I try to buy one here and there when Sherri gives us her fabulous 50 % and sometimes 55% off sales.  I have four of the My Besties CD's  in my Collection  and am hoping to buy the Ella Bella Buttons on the next sale. Ella Bella is the cutest I love the elements that come with her when you purchase her in the Ella Bella 3D Decoupage kit. You can check the the different CD's all out HERE in the My Besties Shop.

Here are a few pictures of the fabulous images you get in this In the Garden CD
Design Papers
Digital images to color

There are several pre-colored images and card toppers you get In the Garden CD. I chose to use this adorable My Bestie pre-colored image to feature her as I made her into a 3D tag project.

Here is a picture of the beginning stages of starting my #8 size manila  6 1/2 x 3 1/4 Tag. I cut my design paper chosen from the CD to fit the tag.  Once I glued down my design paper I did an inking process on my Embossing Folder by rubbing my pink ink pad on one side of the folder that gave the pretty pink flower impression lines on my paper giving the paper a distressed and different look. I also used the same design paper for my heart diecut design doing the same distressed inking process but did not put as much ink because I wanted the heart diecut design to pop as I double layered it on my tag
Here are some My Besties  Spring 2 Elements Pack 2. tickets embellishments from one of the My Besties Printable Paper Elements line that are available for embellishing your projects. I love them and use them alot. Since these are in the Printable/Digital line you can alter the size as you need. I did make them just a little bit bigger. And I love that you can tweak them by adding a little color with your markers or color pencils. In this case, I coordinated the tickets with the pinks and yellow on my tag. My "be joyful" sentiment I stamped on. As you see on the picture below you get so many fabulous elements to use for your projects. My favorite are the beautifully distressed and floral Postcards. You will have to add this Spring 2 Elements Pack 2 to your wish list it is very useful.  There are tags, sentiments and more in the particular My Besties - Spring 2 Elements Pack 2.

Here is a close up look and the elements added to my tag. The little sunflower is also an element you get as embellishments for your projects in this In the Garden CD. I love taking advantage of my leftover design paper when they have flowers I cut them cut and use them for future My Besties projects like I did on this one.  The adorable Ladybug is in the Little Sweeties CD as one of the many fun elements which I also tweaked and added some yellow to the flower to coordinate with my tag.

I would like to enter my tag into the following challenges:
My Besties Spanish - June/Anything Goes with a My Besties
My Besties Aussie - June/Anything Goes w/diecuts
My Besties UK - June Anything Goes w/flowers
My Besties Brazil - Bingo - Emboss/button/metal(charm)
I hope you enjoyed your visit...until next time.

Mixed Media Fun with My Besties

Hello Fellow Crafters,

Printable "cp m2"

Today I am sharing my fun mixed media project using some My Besties Printable/Digital products as I intricately chose to Modpodge a  6x6 canvas featuring the My Besties precolored Printable "cp m2" using her as a 3D Decoupage image.

For the background I decoupaged several different pieces and pages from the Printable Designer Grunge Paper Pack/The Blue Rose Garden Aqua. My favorite color is blue and the turquoises in the cp m2 digital image stood pretty against these darker and lighter blue in the design pages.
Designer Grunge Paper/The Blue Rose Garden Aqua
Here are a few pictures as I Modpogded each layer of  the Blue Rose Garden Aqua Printable pack Design Paper along with the lace. Some layers were distressed on the edge with my scissor and a couple of the design pages were torn to give the look I wanted.

After I Mod poged all the layers. As I worked on the flowers I wanted them to have a 3D look so I printed more flowers off the same design pages in the Printable My Besties Grunge paper pack by cropping several corners with only the flowers using my Word document software. I  then cut several flowers out with my scissors separating some of the petals. I then Mod podged each flower before laying them down in their secure spots. I even Modpodged my 3D image before gluing her down,
I did make sure to let each layer dry good for a day before doing the next layer. I thoughtfully and slowly picked through my embellishments I had on hand and enhanced the background to the final look I was happy with. I did Modpodge over the pearl designs and other miniature flowers.  I love the way she look.

Dimples - My Besties 3D an More...June Challenge

Hello Fellow Crafters,

    **Reminder**My Besties 3D and More...
June Challenge - Anything Goes w/My Besties image

Today I am sharing my fun with one of Designer Sherri Baldy's Collection of My Besties - "Dimples" digital images.  These were the first My Besties images I fell in love with. Though I did not color this one there are many "Dimples" for you to choose from to color HERE in the My Besties Store.    Here is the black and white "Dimples" for you to color if you want to go with this route.
What I love about the Pre-colored printable 3D Decoupage kit is that you can use it so may different ways. One as a simple Card Topper or as a 3D card topper the way I used it...or just a 3D Decoupage project. I did embellish my card with Ranger Ice Stickles and Liquid Pearls

Here is the flip side of my Postcard style card. I did use some other My Besties design papers and elements from other products I have. The flowers were cut out and glued on for this design.
Thank you for stopping by...I hope you enjoyed your crafty fun stop.  Don't forget to pop on over to the My Besties 3D and More...Blog for the June Challenge.

Tea with Alice...My Besties Style

Using My Besties Printable Alice in Pink Wonderland Design Paper 8 page Pack

Hello Fellow Crafters,

Today I get to share a fun project as my Design Team Reminder for
THEME: Anything Goes with a My Besties

Project using Printable Design 8 page Pack 6x6 - Alice in Pink Wonderland

My project was fun and easy. I love the colors and designs on all the 8 pages of this 6x6 pack. As you can see I did some distressing on the edge of all my pieces with scissors and put a hot pink distressed layer behind to make it pop. My card is 5 1/4 by 6 1/2 and my adorable tea cup is only 2 inches tall. I do want to share an easy Youtube video I found that gave me directions to make it...heehee even though this one came out a little different. It looks cute and such a fun and easy project to put together to put candy treat or tea cookies like I did. Here is the Youtube Video for the Teacup created by Linda Parker who I would like to thank for sharing with us. You will need a 8 by 5 1/2 inch cardstock design of your choice, scoreboard, scissors and envelope punch board(i used my WeRMemory Keepers).   She also has a treat mug tutorial video you can look up.

I invite you to pop on over to the My Besties 3D and More Blog and see all the beautiful projects my Teamies have created.

Until next time...Health, Joy and Peace to you and yours.
