Autumn Delight...with Miss Daisy Stamps

Big Texas Hello My Fellow Crafters,

I have not made a post in a good three weeks. I had a sudden delightful yet stressful physically change happen at home. I have my Mom who is 79 move in with me so my attentions have temporarily changed. I am happy...it is just a challenge to get things in new working order and settled for both of us. I do have to share ...it is draining physically with my mobility issues so it is taking away from my crafting time. Don't get me wrong I am happy to have her companionship. We are being blessed...my Lord Jesus Christ is pouring a joy and laughter in us through the hustle of getting things settled.

Miss Daisy Stamps - Facebook Group

I am Guest Designer for September - For Miss Daisy Stamps   Facebook Group. THEME: Autumn using a Miss Daisy Image. I invite you to pop on over and join Miss Daisy Stamps fun Group HERE. I also have to share if you ever were a Follower and Fan like me of StampsArt Design by Kathryne...this is her...Woohoo with her new Store and Facebook Group.
Using: Miss Daisy image- Autumn Delight and We Are 3 Design Papers

My enjoyment for delightful Autumn days to come are being shared today in my card project using several products available in Miss Daisy Stamps Store and the items I used are:

Autumn Delight digital image and this comes with a Bonus File

Miss Daisy Collection/We Are 3 Digital pack available in the Miss Daisy Stamps Store

We Are 3 Digital/Orange Retro Paper Collection available in the Miss Daisy Store

I had fun coloring this adorable Autumn Delight digital image with my colored pencils by Prismacolor Premium and Prismacolor Verithins. I find that the Prismacolor Verithins are good for defining those finer and/or smaller areas to color. I also use a colorless blending pencil to smooth out my color.

The sentiment "Autumn Delight" is one of images in the Bonus File you get with this Autumn Delight image.

I hope you enjoyed your visit and don't forget to pop on over to Miss Daisy Stamps(formerly StampsArt by Kathryne) Facebook Group and check out her Monthly Challenges, card inspirations that are shared and new products that come in. It is a fun group of fun and talented crafters.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Be Encouraged...

Hello Fellow Crafters,

Today I am sharing words of encouragement that I pray will lift up your heart as I display and designed them on a Circle Easel card featuring We Are 3 Digital Papers. The Dandelion Wishes Paper Collection, the Miss Daisy Paper Collection and one sentiment from a lovely set of 4 Digital-Courage Sentiments by We Are 3 Digital Paper available in Miss Daisy Stamps.

I made my Circle Shaped easel card to enter Miss Daisy Stamps Facebook Group - August Monthly Challenge with the THEME: Shaped Cards. I invite you to pop on over and join this fun Group. And for those of you who were Followers of StampArt Design by Kathryne this is her as Miss Daisy Stamps.

I had quite a bit of a challenge as I made this special shaped card not because it was hard to create a design but because my body has been giving me a challenging time of cooperating in giving me shorter periods of physical energy without pain. I was determined to be strong and encouraged as I kept reading this Sentiment/Scripture to get it done giving it my special touches and attention to little details because I wanted whoever I gave it to...to enjoy looking at and feel they were not alone and to be encouraged that they were being thought of and in my prayers.

I did use so many of my fun dies by Spellbinders, Anna Griffin, Memory Box, Joanna Sheen and even a McGill leaf die punch.

I would like to enter my card into the following Challenges.
A Bit More Time... #25 - Anything Goes
Word Art Wednesday #242 &243 - Anything Goes
Crafty Sentiments Designs - Use Dies
Craft Your Passion #324 - Anything Goes

I hope you enjoyed your visit and decide to Follow my Blog along with popping over to Miss Daisy Stamps Facebook page and join the fun group for Monthly Challenges and other fun.

Until next time...Happy Crafting. And may Joy, Peace and Health be yours.

Pockets Full of Fun...My Besties Style

Hello Fellow Crafters,

New Month...New Challenge over at My Besties 3D and More...The THEME is always Anything Goes with a My Besties image and I love to share when I say "and More" that there is such a fun assortment of image styles you can play with. For instance: 3D Decoupage SheetsPre-colored PrintablesDigital imagesRubber Stamps and More. I invite you to visit the My Besties Shop  or Sherri Baldy's Etsy Store to see what Sherri Baldy Designs has for you to have fun with on your next project. I just happen to LOVE designing my projects with the 3D Decoupage Sheets or Printables.
Today I will be sharing two Pocket Cards and a Picture Tutorial on how to get started. I think they have a fun way of being reused as envelopes to put your special notes in.
Using Floer Power Design Paper Pack  And 3D Decoupage Digital Image "Sweet Mary Lou"

On this Pocket Card I am using My Besties "Spot of Tea" 6x6, 8 Pack Printable Design Papers along with the Printable June 2 or you can always choose to buy the Digital Image170/Mad Hatter  to color on your own,

Here is how I start my Pocket Card foundation and then tweak to how I want to fancy up the style.

All you need is:
  • ScoreBoard
  • 6 x 6 sheet of paper(with a design of your choice---this will be the back of pocket card)
  • 5 x 5 1/2  sheet with your Design choices--this will be the front of your card
  • Scissors to cut the corners off ,  Oval or Circle Die or punch tor easy access for insert card--if you want one. As you see on my two Pocket Cards - one has one and the other does not.
  • Insert will be 4 3/4 x 5 1/2

This is where you can decide if you want to give your front and back top Pocket Letter fancy Edges or embossing effects with your current  Embossing Folders, Edge Dies and Punches BEFORE you glue together.

I hope you enjoyed your visit...Until next time...Bountiful Blessings of good health, joy and happiness be yours
