Thank you...for being my Cyber Crafting Friend

Using We Are 3 Digital - Thankful Collection  Design Paper pack and the Be-Attitude Sentiments pack of
 18(wow)
Hello Fellow Crafters,
"Happy Sunday...May the Lord bless and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace." Numbers 6: 24-26

++++++++++++++++++++

Today I am sharing a couple of  simple elegant "Thank you" cards I had fun making using the We Are 3 Digital - Thankful Collection design paper package of 8 different beautiful design sheets. I love the colors in this collection and can be used during Harvest/Thanksgiving season. I love that I can mix and match these with some of my other We Are 3 Digital Collections. The sentiment I used for my project came from one of the 18 sentiments that come in this Digital Be-Attitudes Collection package. I love this complete set.

These were a couple special thank you cards for some families from Church and work that have been helping my Son. And what better way to say thank you than with the living word of God that blesses, teaches and can guide us all through life.

I used two dies to make this card:
Verity Rose/Crafters Companion-Lace Edge
Spellbinders Nestabilities Romantic Rectangles Two
Anna Griffin/Cuttlebug Edge embossing folder(to fancy my envelope)
I hope you enjoyed your stop today. Have a restful, enjoyable Sunday where ever you are.  Big Texas Hugs sent your way...

Until next time

Wishing You Well...

Hello Fellow Crafters,

" Sending "Wishing You Well..." prayers, happy thoughts and words of encouragement. Each day is a new day for new opportunities, a new outlook...like a blank sheet a paper to fill our day with things that build us up no matter who or what tries to tear us down.

I woke up Saturday morning with Bell's Palsy a paralysis of a facial nerve on one side of my face where I lost control of my movement of the muscles. My speech, eating and new smile with a drooping right side of my face seem to be quite a challenge. I thank my Heavenly Father this is a temporary virus and healing is going to be a process. I have to mention when I look at myself in the mirror I wonder who this new women is...and surprisingly giggle and not cry as I think of one of my favorite Walt Disney movies " Hunch Back of Notre
Dame... with the Quasimodo(Hunchback) character. I fell in love with his sweet character not letting his looks make me shun him or give him a strange looks. ---As I go out in the population to do my shores...I only hope I will get compassionate smiles and conversations. I had my first good one yesterday.
        ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Today I am sharing with you my fun play with this adorable My Besties image with bandaids on her and on the balloons as a Get Well design. I cut her out and made into 3D image. I put a little Diamond Stickles on her here and there.  I think she is so adorable. I have been slowly putting her together on a card design I hate to say for over a couple months now. I have some projects I start and just seem to put on the back burner until I am ready to do the final closing so to say.  My Design papers are also a My Besties digital paper collection and somewhere in my My Besties printed paper stash I found these beautiful purple flowers.  I enjoy having fun mixing matching my elements and colors together with what I have to complete my card. I find it therapeutic.

I finally got the urgency to finally glue, paste, pop dot and finish distressing the paper as needed. Sometimes I have projects that I start and they take me awhile to complete. I try keeping all the little paper details with that specific project in a clear protection pocket folder.  I keep a cute little tin with all my 3D Cut outs that I do for future card design.

I was hoping to give it to someone special knowing it would put a smile on their face with the cute and happy features.  Well...guess what that urgency to want to finish was because I wound up giving the card to myself to look at...to Wish myself well and a speedy recovery.

Fun with Cut and Paste

Hello Fellow Crafters,

I am excited to share with you today my fun and easy cut and paste  project I did the old school way with scissors, glue and pop-dots on my card . Those of you that follow me know that I love to use pre-colored images. My card is featuring some new pre-colored Lady Bug  Accessories images by We Are 3 Digital Papers along with the new fabulous and beautiful LadyBug Lace Collection.

I sized my images for my card design size 4.25 by 5.50 inch then cut with scissors and pasted them with glue and/or pop dots to give them dimension.  I also used one of the new Blessings Sentiments Collection and merged it onto one of the design sheets in the Ladybug Lace Collection.

*Special Tidbit*
There is so much you can do with  digital images like sizing and merging sentiments/images onto design paper.  I use Microsoft Word to print and merge any paper, sentiment or images for my design styles. Here is one link that got me started...hope it helps you look into playing with digital images.

I love the cuteness overload that this new Ladybug Lace Collection Design Paper has. I can't wait to share with you some other designs I have in the works with the fun and pretty paper.

Wishing You a Beautiful Day...

Hello Fellow Crafters,
***
I am so heart happy I am slowly strolling into my craftroom more and more as I slowly put cards together again. I have cheated and moved a TV tray to my bedroom to sit and do some cutting, gluing and glancing at the different stages of my card projects and getting it to my final design. I have even moved to making some of my paper flowers to the dining table...because I am still adjusting to having my Mom in the house with me all the time. I want her to feel included or not feel like I am not isolating myself in my craftroom.
The card I am sharing today...I have been working on 2 weeks or more as I slowly put different pieces on and off...adding and taking away until I came to a point of what I wanted. To tell the truth I have quite a few card projects that take me a week or more as I go through some of my leftover diecut scraps. On this card...I found a leftover diecut and wanted to see if I could use any others since my days the past two weeks were not healthy. There are some specific stamp sentiments like the heart with "Jesus Loves you" by Inkadinkado I pre-stamp in different colors I like to keep readily available in container box. And besides...I cannot tell you enough times of how much Jesus Loves you to the Moon and back. "
*****

The beautiful turquoise design paper  is one of the sheets in the We Are 3 Digital - Pastel Burlap Collection and the Musical Notes design paper is from Holiday Wishes Collection. The "Wishing you a Beautiful Day" sentiment is one of Miss Daisy Stamps Sentiment Collections called "Beautiful Day Sayings".

I love silhouettes..I guess they kind of remind me of beautifully carved cameo's. I have been able to collect a few silhouette stamps by Hero Arts.
I recently visited the Spellbinders PaperArts Shop and was so excited when I saw they came up with a Shapebilities Silhouette die  called Party Kids. It was a little expensive but I had to buy it.  I couldn't wait to create my design using it. I love it so much and know I will be making many Birthday and/or Celebration cards with this die. I have to share a pic of the die.

Items used making card:
We Are 3 Digital: Pastel Burlap Collection/Design Paper
Holiday Wishes Collection/Musical Notes Design Paper

Miss Daisy Stamps: digital Beautiful Day Sayings

Inkadinkado: Stamp Jesus Loves You

Spellbinders: Shapebilities - Party Kids Die, Corner die/Shapebilities Gold Elements One

Lala Land Die - Banner die

Pocket Full of Blessings

This is the back of my Pocket Card
Featuring We Are 3 Digital - Bird Songs Collection and Blessings Sentiments
Hello Fellow Crafters,

Today I am sharing with you one of my favorite style Pocket Cards featuring We Are 3 Digital  - Bird Songs Collection design paper and the Blessings Sentiments.

I love creating and decorating Pocket Cards...In case you want to make one I have a picture tutorial HERE. When designing my card I also used one of the design sheets(the musical notes) from the We Are 3 Digital - Holiday Wishes Collection.
I made my flowers with the Design Paper Collections using the Spellbinders Shapebilities Rose die.  The lovely Bird on the Design Paper I made it 3D.
