Sharing with you today one of several Sunday New Release images over at DigiStamps4Joy. This precious image is one of several new additions to the Misteri Series called Misteri the Artist. I absolutely love her...well I love them all...wait until you see all the other ones on the Blog and what the Design Team has done with them...especially Jen the Artist and Creator of these fabulous images.
I had so much fun making this scenic style card imaging the Artist enjoying the day painting in the garden. How relaxing and enjoyable...I enjoy days like this in Autumn.
I did some recycling on the scenic design...some if it came from an old card. The easel is recycled and made from a magazine page that had printed woodgrain...I rolled, cut accordingly and glued, the frame that 'Freckled Faced Fairy'/also in the DigiStamps4Joy store is set in a handmade airdry clay and mold frame from Martha Stewart. I wanted to give the clouds dimension so I painted them with Gesso.
Supplies Used:
Images: Misteri the Artist & Freckled Face Fairy/DigiStamps4Joy
Embellishments: Martha Steward clay mold, flowers from stash, white Gesso, handmade easel,
Coloring: Derwent & Faber Castel Pencils
Cuttlebug/Anna Griffin- dry embossing folder
Sentiment: Stamp Art by Kathyrne
I am entering this card in the following Challenges:
2 Sisters Challenge #162 - Recycle(old card background & Magazine page)
Creative Knockouts #3 - Texturize It(Gesso/Dry Embossing/3Dimension)
Cute Card Thursday #239 - Fairy Nice (Freckled Face Fairy)
I also want to remind you DigiStamps4Joy has the Bi-Weekly Challenge going on so be sure to go by and check out the Inspiration Image to start creative juices going and join in on the fun.
Until next time....this Shabby Chic Grannie is out...Hugs.
