Sunset Colors with a Twist

Hello Everyone,   Look at the beautiful colors on this sunset and the beautiful scripture to carry you through any days challenges.

It is my fun time to share the new challenge at Twist of Faith  this week. The recipe is use End of the day - Sunset Colors and we would love to hear why you chose your colors. There are so many colors to use...so have fun with it remembering that at Twist of Faith we love for you to add a scripture, positive quote/verse, or uplifting quote.
This week we are blessed to be Sponsored by Melonheadz Illustrations.

I chose to make two cards to share with you hoping they inspire you as I enjoyed these lovable Melonheadz. This first card I used the sweet illustrated image Elephant Baby 1 created by Nikki the owner and her sentiment 'You mean the World to me'.
I will be sharing with you why I chose my colors for each card. I see different colors on different nights that paint the skies...and mesmerize me. In this season in lifes journey I have come to enjoy and see the beauty that goes on in the changes coming from the Sun setting...the brightly lite sun going down...blue clouds getting darker...the Sun gently saying 'Good Night" as he moves on and shares his brightness with another part of the world.
Supplies:
Digital Image & Sentiment from Melonheadz/Elephant Baby 1
Watercolor pencils by FaberCastell & Anna Griffin
Cardstock: Recollections Card & Anna Griffin Paper Design
Embellishments: buttons, bluejean heart cut-out, Paper flower stash, Martha Stewart -air dry flower mold which I put gesso and ink distressed
--------------------
This second card using Caylee from Melonheadz I used a background paper of circles with soft blues, creams and browns and little circle touches of orange. I chose these colors because I noticed some nights as the sun sets the Sun is hidden and the colors of the sky and clouds seem to bring in a calmer quiet settling into the night.
I speak with such detail because I have come to appreciate God's awesomeness and greatness as I laid in the hospital for several weeks a few years ago.  My hospital room had a big open window as I would lay their crying in physical pain and feeling alone.  My sweet God filled with Loving-Kindness drew my attention to the window as I lay their showing me his drawings of creation in the sky, clouds and sun.  My days and nights were given a giant canvas as God drew in the sky encouraging me. He even placed a beautiful little bird on my window one day reminding me...he cares for the birds how much more would he care for me.
Inside  card with Melonheadz/Caylee in front
Supplies:
Image & outside card sentiment from Melonheadz/Caylee
Cardstock by: Recollections and BoBunny
Used FaberCastell & Anna Griffin watercolor pencils
Hemp for ribbon

I hope you enjoyed my two cards and are inspired to enjoy the sunset and canvas God has created for you...enjoy life do not be worried for nothing but trust in Him.

Don't forget to come by and join in the challenge of fun at Twist of Faith this week.  Be Encouraged and know that you ARE LOVED.
