3D Decoupage Digital Image - Besties Bunny/My Besties by Sherri Baldy Hello Fellow Crafters, I am so excited to share that My Besties Pretty Pre-Colored Printable Challenge Blog is having a Design Team Call and I would like to submit my creative inspirations to be a part of their fabulous Team. I have fallen in love with these images since a Fellow Crafter introduced them to me. This Besties Bunny 3D image is one of many Pre-colored printables Sherri Baldy's the Designer of My Besties has put together for us. I invite you to visit Sherri Baldy's Esty Shop and/or her Products that are also sold at the Scrapbook Stamp Society Shop. You will find a fun assortment of stamps, digital images, dolls, Design Paper and more. ++++++ Here is my paper project I am submitting for the My Besties Pretty Pre-Colored Printable Design Team. I am featuring the Pre-colored digital 3D Decoupage image called Besties Bunny Designed by Sherri Baldy on a Gift Bag/Gable Box. I can't wait for you to try making one...you are not going to believe how easy these are to make. Of course you can go fancy like mine and add lacy paper hand punch edging and handmade flowers which I will share all the instructions. First I want to share the YouTube Video put together by Bridgette who graciously put the how-to-do video together. Please try to leave Brigette a comment 'Thanking her' for sharing. And she does it at a slow pace for even someone like me to understand. You will you need at 8 3/4 by 12 inch Design Paper. I preferably like using double-sided Design Paper it looks prettier when you see the inside design. You will also need a ruler, scissors, score board along with the scorer. I have also added some pictures down below on how I added the pretty lacy edged paper ribbon on this Gable Box/Gift Bag. I used a Martha Stewart Edge punch. Unfortunately I do not know the name of this one. I measured its width to figure how wide to cut my 12" paper which came out to 2 1/2 inches but I added a 1/4 inch so that I could place that pretty hot pink ribbon on center. And what made it easy to add this lacy edge is...I used the same scoring dimensions from the video going across the 12 inch side which you see I have written on this strip. Once I edge punched the design I can fold on the scored places.I also wanted to share with you the different paper flowers I used to decorate on the box. They are hand cut spiral roses and here is a YouTube video for you if you want to give it a try. I used decorative edge scissors on a couple of the roses and did one with plain scissor cutting. I also used one of my Spellbinder Shapeabilities Bitty Blossoms I placed on the Joanna Sheen Butterfly Flourish. |
This project was submitted to My Besties Pretty Pre-colored Printable Challenge Design Team Call- February 2015.
