Black & White with a Little "green"

Black & White with a touch of "green" Recycling
Everybody loves black and white..such a regal elegant look. I am sharing 3 different cards with you today. This particular card is the one with a touch of "green" heeee.  I love to use my leftover scrap design paper for these circle flowers. But for this card I was wanting to add an extra touch of organza or material but didn't have any white handy. Improvision and a creative mind went to work. Meanwhile, I was pulling out my hand diecut to work on this card and a used fabric softener sheet popped out stuck to it..Funny Story..I keep used ones in my craft drawers to keep away silverfish..guess it works haven't seen any.

This is what I did with the fabric softener sheet. I cut needed circles for each size, pierced a whole in the middle of each one. Final touch that made a difference is I lightly wet my finger tips and played with the edges..rolling in and or out, even just pulled a little to give them a better textured look.  I love the final process.  FYI..this one was probably used twice or more until all fragrances and chemicals were out.  I can't wait to try some gesso, mod podge, glitter here, inks there, fun everywhere. I Hope you liked the idea, use it or are inspired to do your own thing.
Back page of this card is 1/2 longer to give it a lace look with a Martha Stewart hand diecut.
 Card 2:
I love making my own paper ribbon. To get this particular fold. I wanted a 1/2 inch top(showing off the paper design) so I scored 1/8 inch increments twice between every 1/2inch space.
