Today July 2, 2013 is a start of a new week of Create Your Own Background at 'Twist of Faith Card Challenge'. You can use watercolors, inks, stamps, or even your own drawing.
I decided to play with corrugated cardboard and my favorite embossing folders. My fabulous main attraction is beautiful whimsical 'Lizabeth Spring Music' one of many by creator Lucy Sunshine Stamps, Artist Heather Valentin. As you look at my card, I used four different background layers. One of the layers is corrugated cardboard that I diecut , then painted with Gesso, distressed with ink and glittered with Martha Stewarts 'brownstone' glitter. Wow, love the effect of the Geso on the corrugated cardstock. There is so much to see on this card even without the use of design paper. Sorry to hear about your health issues, it takes a strong woman though to look past that and be thankful for the things that you have been blessed with.
